Guess What?  Yesterday Manuka Hub hopped on the bus and drove to Te Mata Peak.  When we got there we hopped off the bus.  I heard some Tui singing in the trees.  My mum came on the trip and it was hard to walk up the hills.  We followed the purple track.  We stopped for morning tea and then we kept on going and it was slippery and I nearly fell over.  When we were there we had a play.  We made a big hut that two people could fit in.  We made it out of sticks and my mum helped me and Sydney and Maddi.  We had to hunt for sticks and we put the sticks on the hut and it was hard to make the hut.  We had long sticks and it was fun making the hut.  Then we had some lunch.  When we finished our lunch we were allowed to have another play and we carried on with the hut.  Then we walked back.

Our Trip to Summerset

Guess What?  We walked to Summerset and we saw a black and white cat on the footpath.  It was cute.  When we got to Summerset we read our poem books and they read us a story.  Then we performed our songs.  Then they gave us some lollies.

Car Wash!

We washed the teacher's cars and we scrubbed the cars.  It was fun and I got some bubbles on me and I got some water on me.  We washed the teacher's cars because it was Random Acts of Kindness week.  We blew up some balloons and we put the balloons in the teacher's cars.  

Windsor Park

On Thursday we went to Windsor park. I got to feed the ducks and it was fun. we walked to the playground and I like the round swing and it went high. When we got back to school we had a swim.
